PhD project: “Evolutionary origin of the ancestral eukaryotic proteome”
My projects aims at understanding more the prokaryotic origins of the Last Eukaryotic Common Ancestor by applying phylogenomic and comparative genomics methods to assess the ancestral eukaryotic proteome, and derive each of their prokaryotic donors.
