Research interests

My research focuses on urban plant biodiversity in the broadest sense. I work at the scale of the plant community, to characterise intra-urban diversity and understand the parameters that structure it. My work is at the interface between ecology and urban planning, in order to make operational recommendations on urban planning that promotes diversity. I am also interested in the perception that the various urban stakeholders (residents, managers, elected representatives, etc.) have of this biodiversity, particularly spontaneous vegetation. My current research focuses specifically on the diversity of individual gardens, and the influence of the spatial structure of gardens and their management by residents on the vegetation and pollinating insects found there.
