Research interests

I am interested in the adaptation of phytopathogenic fungi to biotic and/or abiotic components of their environment. Within the team, our goal is to identify genes and mechanisms involved in this adaptation using population genetics and genomics approaches. I am currently studying 3 species of the Microbotryum genus (a model for host specialization and co-evolution studies in fungi), focusing on their evolutionary convergence towards virulence on the same host species.
